Yardley London Bond St

The new Yardley London Bond St fragrances – inspired by London’s Bond St, home to high-end fashion and many beautiful things.
Hey lovelies happy Friday! Before I get into the specs of the new Yardley London Bond St fragrances allow me to say; if you have been reading my blog or follow me on Instagram, you know I have a special place in my heart for perfume. Do you ever associate special moments or memories with a scent? Our memory tends to hold on to certain scents – a fragrance can hold a moment or feeling so vividly! My boyfriend gifted me an amazing perfume for my birthday last year and ever since then I was a converted perfume-lover. Recently while roaming the streets of London mid conversation, he quickly turned to me and said ‘babe that lady smells like you, I think she is wearing your perfume!’
This little story is interesting because it happened on London Bond St; a fashion hub filled with high-end beautiful things! This is also where Yardley London‘s flagship store once resided back in the 1910s. Imagine my excitement when I returned home to find that Yardley London had sent me this gift. That way I can literally wear my pleasant memories of London.
The packaging is simple and sophisticated. I love a perfume that can also act as a centre piece on my vanity station.
Oriental – Chypre
This one is my favourite with notes of jasmine, patchouli and vanilla. It has a very inviting floral sweet scent, the sweet scent is underlying and is in perfect balance with the floral notes. It smells like stepping into a garden full of blooming flowers. I find this scent very feminine, playful and very confident. Definitely that birthday weekend wear kind of fragrance that lasts all day.
Floral – Chypre
This scent is just a tad stronger than the Oriental – Chypre, it is robust and has floral, cedar and woody tones adding a boldness to the scent. It is a great scent to wear out on the night or at a braai as it is attention grabbing and sophisticated.
Fougere – oriental – Woody
The top notes are apple, zest bergamot, lavender, vanilla and sandalwood. This scent is light, airy and fresh. It is also long-lasting and although subtle you definitely won’t go unnoticed.
No 33 has fresh citrusy top notes with aromatic and floral scent, the base notes are patchouli and vetyver. Also long lasting : I find it bold and strong, it will captivate maybe even demand attention. This fresh scent is ideal for many occasions; Board room meetings, presentations- to that a club night… wherever you want to make a statement.
The price makes us all winners, the fragrances are all under R500, we can all slay!
